Misc StreetPass Mii Plaza message glitch

Somehow when I StreetPass my brother's N3DS a lot, this happens:

Press A on "We have met 99 times now." and it skips to "This is what I have been playing recently:"

This never happens on my brother's N3DS!
Does this also happen to you guys?
Is it a glitch or normal?
What's the cause?

You have "Skip Greetings" turned on in the StreetPass Mii Plaza.

You have "Skip Greetings" turned on in the StreetPass Mii Plaza.

It still happens even if
Skip Grettings is turned OFF!

Edit: I think the cause is that my brothers N3DS has Skip Grettings ON.
