Well, I've just found out that bluray drive can cause YLOD. I got ylod like 6 months ago, and wanted to sell iit for parts. Today I've decided to reflow the chis. I have a lot of experience wth heat gun and soldering iron. So I started to toke it appart, did everything, cleaned the heat sink, top of the cpu, rsx, case all shiny...
Took psu apart, cleaned it. But I wanted to try to start it 1 more time. New thermal paste, put it together, still YLOD. Took it apart again, but noticed that the ribbon cable on the drive was dirty, tried.to detach it, it just fell off. Put it together again, works. No, nothing
Just temps are 75-80 cpu, 65-72-rsx
Happy camper
