Hacking Strange Wii Problem

Hi folks,

got a wii here, when i put the power on it, red light come up,
when i try to put it on, green light come up for about 3 sec, then the light goes out.
wii doing nothing, olso try to start the wii up witout the drive, same problem,

anyone have a idea?

does the light go out or just back to red?
if it goes back to red hold reset and then then press power while holding reset.
if it goes completely off then you might have some hardware that is dead

if i press the red light, the green show up for 3 sec, it goes completely off
