Hacking Suggestion Steam Link port?

Has anyone thought about porting the android version of steam link? since its arm maybe its possible. Would be nice to play my steam games via stream.

It would be orders of magnitude easier to just get android running on the Switch

the tl;dr is steam link is open source... for android... so it needs to be ported before anything HOWEVER, for the meantime if you have a Nvidia card moonlight is being ported and word is it's running, albeit 3-4 frames a second due to some moonlight dependencies not being ported yet but it'll get to the point of working as good as a Nvidia shield portable hopefully. (I couldn't get the precompiled app to run on my switch usually would crash when it gives me the Nvidia game stream code)

Steam link isn’t open source even on Android. Moonlight use a reverse engineered version of nvidia gamestream. Problem is that relies on ffmpeg to stream the video that isn’t ready to be used (compiled) on switch. I’m working on it in my spare time in order to make moonlight(moonrise on GitHub) a good alternative to parsec/rainway. Sadly, moonlight isn’t as production ready as parsec and alternatives.

Try parsec and you will see the difference. I’ve streamed over internet 1080p 60fps without problems. Steam Link ie only 720p
