Gaming Steal Princess

This looks like a fantastic rpg with absolutely breathtaking artwork. It's so rare that developers take the time and energy to create truly original visual eye-candy, but this time they seem to have accomplished it. It's due out in December, and supposedly will be localized in the US. They finally have their website up and running, with lots of screenshots. If an English translation isn't released, we should protest:

I'm not too sure, but wasn't the gameplay about running through different levels and finding keys to get to the next one? That sounds a little boring to me...

But yeah, I totally fell for the art when I saw it first too... so lovely!

I already saw some screenshots of the game from some other sites a long time ago. The game kinda reminds me of zelda and ys series.

Rats, I was hoping for some good lesbian princess-stealing-princess action. In my version, your character is a warrior princess who kidnaps smaller, softer princesses, saving them from arranged marriages with generically bland princes and turning them into her personal harem instead.

I think my game would sell more copies.

Seriously, you don't say it'll suck just because you don't like it. Everyone has their own opinions, and has different ideas in a game. Unless this is one of those budget carts that only cost them 5 bucks, you can't just say "People won't buy it". Even those shit games are selling, because some senseless parents and kids buy them.

Also, SINCE ONE PERSON DOESN'T WANT IT, NO ONE WILL GET IT EITHER.


Back on topic, I think it may be interesting, although I've only seen a few screens. I'll see if it gets adequte reviews, and may play it if it's actually good.

Liked the character designs, but not so much the screenshots of the game, they didn't show much but what was there didn't look that great.

Yes, SlevinElocin, "breathtaking artwork". It isn't the standard japanese anime-style. It is a bit more unusual with some more flair. It looks as though the design team was given a little more leeway as far as pushing the artistic envelope a bit. All I was saying is that it's always good when developers take a few risks and try to produce titles that don't look like every other release out there. And from everything I've read and seen about this title, they have tried to do that.

And xblackoutx, FFCCRoF is one of the 10 best games ever on the DS. So, I agree with you that it is great.
