Gaming Splinter Cell: Double Agent

Well, I have been trying to get this game to work but to no avail.

This is what I have tried:

Loading normally with neogamma R8 (IOS 249)

Loading Alt .dol

Loading with uLoader and setting it to IOS 249

Adding 002 fix

I heard this game didn't work on USB loaders...But I'm doing it via DVD.

I remember wasting a few dvds on this game, last year.

Eventually, the only way I could get it to work was to first use 'iospatcher' (by waninkoko) to force the image itself to use ios249, before even burning the disc.

If you've never used iospatcher, its simple, first download it (google) and then put it in the same folder, on your PC, as the splinter_cell.iso (or whatever the .iso is called).

Next, using your left mouse button, simply drag the game .iso on top of the iospatcher.exe file. A cmd window will then pop up asking you what to change the ios too, for the corresponding .iso. Simply type 249 when the cmd window pops up and then press enter.

Thats it. Now reburn the newly ios-patched .iso, and it should work fine.
