3 things.
1. This is Spinal's topic, let's keep it to his DS Brew. It's fantastic, so talk about that!
2. If you can spell Jayenkai, you can find me on Twitter! Ask away, there, I'm happy to help.
3. Not without one.
People keep asking me to do things for older iOS's, 3.x being the most popular choice.
The thing is, I can try my games on 4.2 (My mum's iPod Touch) and 5.0 (mine!)
But I can't, without having to jailbreak, revert, lose stuff, yada yada (you'll know if you've tried) test my games on anything less than 4.2
For that reason, I can't guarantee that my games will run on those, and I'm incredibly wary about allowing people to pay for my games, if there's even the slightest chance that they're not going to run.
If it were freeware, or homebrew, then .. meh.. whatever, right!? Doesn't matter! If it breaks, no biggy.
But you paid, (even if it is just 69p!) and THEN it breaks..
.. that's kind of a big deal.
I'm already taking a big leap-of-faith on iPad games. It's failed before and I'm not happy risking it again. I cross my fingers every time someone posts a "HD, on iPad!" youtube video of my games. Scares the bejesus out of me!
So, no.
Not at this time.
Unless I get a new iPhone or iPod Touch, and can scale back the OS on the current iPod, it's not something that I'm happy to attempt.
I'm only one guy, and sales are low enough that I can't go splashing it about. which sucks! 14 months later, and I still haven't made a dent. grrr...
sorry.
