It won't crash but there will be a river flow problem, one going to the left, one to the right.... You can do things like an island, no side beaches etc with no problem, no crashes.

Huh. So If it has a side beach it will work?

Yes sure

So the building signboards are stored at 0x201494E (FCRAM) or 0x5C74E (acnlram.bin). Unfortunatly it seems to reset after exiting the game, so you will have to inject the code each time your launch the game..

Values :

00 = JP
01 = US
02 = ES US (?)
03 = FR CA (?)
04 = UK
05 = ES
06 = FR
07 = IT
08 = DE
09 = KR

Huh? One of the dream towns crashed the game near the end of the town history (when you sit on the tree).

I have multiple docks in my town that are taking up slots in the "buildings" tab of the ram editor
Anyone know how to get rid of the extras? Or do they just get replaced by PWPs I place?

Its most likely possible to change the mayor picture.
Any idea how? The RAM tool gathers it somehow

Edit:
Starts at 0x5744
doing more research

Please don't post more infos, we've discovered this months ago and we don't want this spread to the public for obvious reasons....

Just remove the extra docks manually, it should be near 0x00049580

Hmmm. So do I have to do that? Or can I just overwrite them with PWPs? Part of me feels that the game will just do that and I feel to lazy to delete all of those docks. If I do have to, what would I change the dock bytes to?

Okay so I found how to complete the encyclopedia, it worked fine in my game.

It starts at 0x00006C20 and ends at 0x00006C8F, put "FF" to all the bytes between the offsets, like this :

Your encyclopedia should be completed, however this code is not "optimised", it may cause crashes.

I'm only missing 2 bugs but mine looks like this:

It's not there, if you put FF everywhere, their size will not change
I'm honestly scared to do anything hex editing wise.
Last time I did that I screwed up big time. (I was feeling so arrogant and didnt even bothered making a backup file)
Now every time when I make a new character, the boat to the island will disappear and Kapp'n is swiming under the dock. Then if talk to him the game will crash

Literally if you just replace one of your docks with a PWP and change the coords then you'll be fine. 00, ofc! (I think thats the default byte for unbuilt/unused slots)

Anyone know how this happened? I edited my town a bit, putting PWP on beach ect. After a while it crashed when I tried to save.. Here is what shows up on my best friends page

Edit: all my pwps still are on the beach and the inject worked, but it crashes anytime else I choose to update it. I'm just trying to figure out how editing my town relates to my best friends list..If I can't find the problem I might have to restore a past game save state.

Edit 2: I'm going to assume people who are only viewing the pictures and not answering don't know what happened either.

Edit 3: deleting the best friend doesn't do anything. It's still there .
