Yea, its on the list of things to do. 11.x firm breaks emu patches for some reason and havent even looked in to patching firms outside of native firm, so i need to think about how i'd do that in way thats not to messy, since im trying to make this cfw modular as possible.
Might get some hate for this, but have you ever considered just dropping support for menuhax and emunands all together? With sighax looming around the corner, it's really about time old entrypoints like menuhax, Ninjhax, MSET, Spider, ect. just stop being used. And emuNANDs are really a thing of the past, they were mostly used to protect the hacks themselves.
I know a lot of people will disagree with this, but if out of date programs are holding you back, then it's about time people start trimming them off.
I am also going to be honest as well, people interested in ReiNAND are interested in a slim minimal CFW. Trimming those parts off really aren't a loss for ReiNAND users.

It's not hate, but I like staying with emuNAND. I use a9lh (still on 9.2) to load an emuNAND for both my N3DSes. It's particularly useful for my region-swapped N3DS. I just leave it on 9.1J loading into an 11.2U emuNAND. It's also because I did the a9lh back before this newfangled "updated sysnand" came about, and I'm too lazy to want to change it.

@Reisyukaku :
Working nice with CTRBootManager =)

Well, seeing as this did have quite a bit of time and effort put into getting an update to reinand, let's try to respect their efforts. It's not hurting anyone:)

The reboot patch is a nice gimmick, the twl just needs to be fixed.
I do have confirmation from @CrimsonMaple that twl patches are being worked on.

-snip-
Also OP, does ReiNAND have support for CTRNand?
If by CTRNand you mean loading firmware from there, then no. I was planning on doing that about a year ago when powerfirm came out, but the code overhead would have been massive and confusing for my codebase at the time. So i dropped that idea. Might think about it again now that i got things cleaned up some. My cfw has always focused more on simplicity and such.

On a side note, i also want to try and get people to release how powerful the arm11 patches can be. Anyone can make them and concatenate to their patches.dat. I've been reverse engineering eshop for the past year that way. lel =)

Alright, no more drama BS, peeps.

This thread is only for focusing on @Reisyukaku 's work and releases. What happened between him and other coders is TOTALLY off-topic.

If you want to rant in a CIVIL way about other users being horrible people, you can do that in the blogs. Kthxbai

which one? i've been going between eshop stuff and trying to figure out why emunand patch breaks everything in newer firms lol
I suggested @CrimsonMaple to check out the Corbenik source code to figure out the emuNAND issue. Why? because Corbenik supports 9 emuNANDS, if there's any code base to look at, it's that one.
And I am pretty sure with DSi/GBA, you just need the current reboot patch you have now and you just need to patch the firmware files from there.

10, actually. It is index 0 to 9 iirc.

It's so nice to see people being respectful and nice to each other---
Oh wait. This is GBATemp. Nobody is civil when somebody points fingers at somebody else.

Well it's nice to see this is still being worked on! Awesome!

Lets switch to ReiNAND again :') :switch:

BTW @Reisyukaku. Are agb/twl patches still planned?
Yeah I'm gonna work on em tomarrow. I have midterms right now I have to study for. Should be an easy addition.
