Yeah sysnand restore will remove arm9loader.

Not anymore, no. If you need that, you'll need either miniPasta, RxTools Dev/Pasta Mode, or AuReiNAND (Aurora's mod of Reinand).

Nands unlinked, stops about 1/8 of the way into the update process. I'm currently searching for the 10.5 update files. (Could I just use 3DNUS for this?)

I'm still having issues updating (Problem was described on page 195). I've tried using different internet connections for the system updater and that didn't work. I used NUS downloader to get the 10.5.0-30JPN update and when I try to use sysupdater (0.4.2b cia by profi200) It returns this error:

"fsException:
fs.cpp:117: Result: 0xC86044D2
Failed to write to file!
Did you store the update files in '/updates'?"
(of course I did I'm not a total idiot^^)

I've also tried the 10.3 cias from 'that iso site' and the same exact error occurs. I just want to update to get the smash update cmon 3ds work with me

Is there a cia of minipasta?

No. You'd need a sig-patched CFW environment to even run it, so it'd be pointless.

Are you using the first 4.2 sysupdater? the one with downgrade as on option wont work.

Are you using the sysUpdater 0.4.2 cia or are you launching sysUpdater from HBL?

I'd say just create a new emuNAND, then instantly format it.

Hi Jack, did you replace with 9.2 firmware bin to get those to work? Just curious to know even though I never plan on removing the arm9 exploit. Jut cant get hombrew to work on 9.2
