I hate compiling shit. So many things that can go wrong.

That said, I would rather compile this myself, if nothing else than for the experience.

Can someone give me a hand?

Code:
C:\Users\Aroth\Desktop\ReiNand-master>make
/bin/sh: python: command not found
arm-none-eabi-gcc -MMD -MP -marm -mlittle-endian -mcpu=arm946e-s -march=armv5te-fno-builtin -fshort-wchar -std=c11 -Wno-main -c -o build/crypto.o source/crypto.c
make: arm-none-eabi-gcc: Command not found
make: *** [build/crypto.o] Error 127

edit:

I am well aware its probably something stupid like a broken path.

Can we launch this from Ninjhax/Themehax 2.5 to HBL or do we need to run the 1.1b exploit?
Better pick the stable one since you don't have any idea of what you're doing. Try to get few things https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-easy-complete-comprehensive-cfw-guide-for-everyone.408685/
There was a new commit to source code a few minutes after he posted his compiled version.
@Shadowtrance , can you compile the new commits and report please

I have, and nothing to report yet really except that NTR doesn't wanna work and neither does FreeMultiPatcher. (region free).

FreeMultiPatcher reports kernel: 2.50-1
NTR3.2 says unknown / unsupported firmware

Python is definitely installed and in the PATH, version is 2.7. Not entirely sure about devkitARM.

Both are definitely installed, idk why its bitching about python. Unless this is the one project on the forum that requires a version other than 2.7?

and also because blackouts here are very common and that could damage the console
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
Do you have a surge protector or an UPS?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea but to play the next gen games, you must have those games on internal, or buy the official ssd expansion cards, which are expensive
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, dunno what each one of those are
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, my PS3 was already modded when my dad bought it for me and my brother
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh i recall seeing one in some in the houses of some relatives, including my dad's apartment
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, although whatever device we plug into them stops getting power anyways lol
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
    that's weird
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, and oh i was talking about ups
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    No not that one
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Surge protectors are what i was talking about

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.
