Yea I snuck in a ninja commit for new things.. mainly just making it more legal and use friendly, and more on the smart emunand patching system.

I need help... I'm stuck on this part and I cant figure out where to go next.

I have ctrbootmanager installed and have it with the custom boot file on the tutorial on this site. It loads correctly to a screen with HBL and ReiNAND on the screen.... and will autoboot into ReiNand (or should). I'm using 9.2.0.20U of course, and EmuNAND seemed work fine.

Using reiNAND 3.2b (the pre-compiled from the link posted here) and the firmware.bin from the Dropbox in the readme. ReiNAND does launch but then gets stuck on a loading screen (black with an anime girl on the right side). no prompts to press, no buttons to push... just stuck. I tried a few attempts with the same result... and I tried stopping the autoload and going there manually from HBL, but same issue.

Any assistance appreciated.... if anyone can help I know its you guys. If this is the wrong location, let me know, but it sounds like my issue might be tied to the version I'm using and the bun file I found.

Thanks, I've had a nasty cold the last 2 days or so. Hopefully yours isn't/wasn't any worse. But yeah, take your time, the current version works great as it is.

Have you contacted any of the site mods to find out if your encryption of firmware.bin would be enough to allow completed builds of reinand to be linked to in the thread?

Not yet, but can they really prove that firmware.bin isnt just a random blob? .. without running it, lol. I'd imagine the idea is that they don't want 'plaintext' ninty code..

I thinks its also forbidden to link directly to the gateway launcher files, because they included the firmware in it. So its still problematic I think.

Incase people want to use it, and since the firmware.bin file can apparently be included now, it'll make people's life way more easier. (No more issues when people forget to switch out there firmware.bin file for a newer one)

Working fine on 3.2b here (though my GW blue card's contacts are becoming a pain in the butt lately).

Which version are you using? I can use them with no problem with Reinand 3.1.

The way cake handles this is safe, because the link is directly to nintendos servers. Also he doesn't include the key, instead he loads it from sd.

Sounds more like the card itself is problematic. Usually when the contacts are being finicky the logo doesn't even show up at all.

Then my immediate assumption would be an issue with the 3ds in question. The only titles that come to mind that affect it though are the ds cart whitelist and TWL_FIRM.

I've yet to try a DS retail cart (lol) but my 3DS retail carts work normally.

Though, I had to go into NTR to use them, cause US carts and JPN emunand doesn't work XD
