Yes all the way to 10.3

Yes. That is the biggest change from 2.1.

With fbi I had problems installing dlc (themes or ssb4 dlc), but using big blue menu it works fine. Maybe I'm using an outdated fbi? Version says 1.4.17 so it should be the latest.

I had no problems with normal game titles.

Just curious, which games/titles reboot you to SYSNAND? If you have auto menuhax does it still boot into SYSNAND?

Edit: also im sure cell9 will cover all firmware versions.. would be silly to leave some out

I'm using ReiNand 3.0 on a 9.2 / 10.3 N3DS and decided to apply the MSET4.5 downgrade cia (GW technique) to use the MSET entry point.
I know the 2DS will brick with 4.x if you then do Format System Memory. The O3DS can safely use 4.x /6.x though.
What about the N3DS? Will it brick?

no; only 2DS is the one at risk if you downgrade mset to 4.x.

in other words, anything but the 2DS will be fine if you format with a downgraded mset to 4.x...

I read on "that iso site" that it would brick. I guess he gave the wrong info to somebody.

What good would that do after it's bricked.

Just tried this and it works! It doesn't boot every time though (50/50 on my end) But my emuNAND is now on 10.3E!

Curiously though, I really just want a "yes or no", does the multi-patcher work with this, and do my own legit backups using uncart converted to CIA's of games of different regions (And out of region Eshop updates) work if you were to install them? That way I can play my MHX cartridge ripped copy translated from SD through this CFW?

Huh...First i was just saying that he/she was uploading files that are not allowed here (Firmware.bin),compiling the cfw doesnt include the firmware.bin
