A hacker named Koush got an e-mail, which is real, from Sarah McRae who works on a onsite at the Talent Acquisition department.

Here is the pic of the e-mail and source.

If this is real... Wow, the guy just gave up a perfect job opportunity. Stupid move; Now he'll be stuck in his mom's basement forever.

This does have a chance of being fake though. I don't think Sony would ever reach out to hackers after this mess.

Well, I don't know if it's fake or not, but the person is part of sony.

I wouldn't call it a stupid move, he is showing that he will not work for SONY because of how they treat people like him. If you belong to a specific group, no matter what that group is, and a company goes way above and beyond to cause trouble for that group, would you work for them, knowing how they treat your friends?

Ever heard of 'Ethical Hacking'?

Yes, it involves a sense of openness and sharing, and basically not fucking with other peoples shit in such a hypocritical way you won't get working for Sony;) Any one going to work for them will most likely be just another Sony cracker, sorry I mean dev, working on their next gen rootkits...

Who cares about the others? If I was a hacker on the scene right now and was called by Sony, I would go. I wouldn't give shit about the others.
That's exactly what Geohot was expecting. He got a sue, instead. =)
