Let's just hope all the people downloading their free games doesn't make the whole thing go down again ):.

It'd be funny if the whole network went down like within hours of the deadline.

Considering how everybody getting on to change their password brought PSN back down the first time they tried to bring it up, I'm willing to bet the network load of everybody trying to download two free games is going to be a bit of a pain as well.

Man...that's gonna suck. I'm looking forward to downloading my games at 15kb/s. [IMG]

It's nice to hear that PSN will be fully restored this week, though.

Well, I hope they get it back up by the end of the week. E3 starts shortly after that.

I think Sony will have quite a lot of explaining to do at E3... [IMG]

Just took a look at the options for the free games and I already own two of the five (Ratchet and Clank Quest For Booty and LittleBig Planet), so I reckon I'll be going for Infamous and Wipeout HD. But I'll be looking into Dead Nation before I download anything, see what it is an whether it would be a better option.

Sony said the store would be online by the end of the month though. It's now the end of the month. Where's the store? My dad has a £25 PSN card he got to downloa the DLC for his golf game and he's sure to have money left over that I can spend on something more fun.

Does anyone know how long the free games offer is?

I'm getting a PS3 and I would realllyyyyy like Wipeout HD and Ratchet and Clank.

edit: and I have a PSN account way before the hacks happened.

Free games are available for 30 days. Boot up your web browser on your PS3 and the home page has all the details and legal fidgy-widgyness.

What it doesn't have is the bloody store >:(

the hackers are really dangerous, they have already said they will hack anything with the sony label on it. Nothing is uncrackable, and the hackers want to prove it esp after more security measures have been placed

I'm hoping it'll be restored and I can (hopefully) get a free copy of LittleBigPlanet for my PSP. It's easier to just have a legit copy for DLC and stuff than a pirated one. Well, I created a PSN account like last Thursday on my Go so hopefully I'll still be able to accept the offer.
