"Loosing" is not a word dude..... Refer to this page. Major pet peeve and everybody from younger generations say it. It's annoying.

Another one bites the dust.

Best option is second wii u. if you bought all the games that are being pirated it would be way past the cost of a second wii u.
I guess im just used to having extra consoles apart form the mains. 10 NES systems is a bit much tho. But when i used to see them in thrift stores back in 2001 i couldn't resist....

IOSU it's just so close anyway... I would just wait a little and see what happens.

Were you actually updated to 5.5 or was it maybe 5.4 and since it's spoofed it looks like 5.5

Then you could have accidentally updated through a disc maybe?

Sounds like he's just been lucky, when the console was spoofed it didn't bother to download any updates from NUS ...since it though well I'm already on 5.5??
His router doesn't seem to block https requests anyways, so it will download what it wants using port 443 which is what the URL's connect to, not port 80 ...unless the router has a CFW?? ...so one slip of the console not being in spoofed mode, and there you have it ...another Wii U updated to 5.5!

I just turned on my wii u and it showed me that the updated was performing, but i have my router setup to block all nintendo updates, plus i was spoofed to 5.5.0, im so pissed right now that i cant even begin to describe it.... Can someone tell me please what the freak went wrong so my conaole updated itself after almost a year with my router setup to block all updates????
Not to worry my child, if everything goes as planned, @Hykem will be saving Christmas! But you really should have had TubeHax DNS on your internet settings.

Buy yourself a Toshiba Flashair Wireless SD card. You can host your own exploit. I JUST got mine and it literally works for Loadiine.
It's a 16 GB SD so it also can store my Gamecube games. For $20, it's worth it.

It's already known that we can use these to stay offline forever, I just want to spread the popularity of this method. More people should do this to never update ever.

These SD cards serve the same content when plugged in and when accessed wireless, am I right?

The Wii U doesn't read any of the exploit files while plugged into the system. But it DOES however access those files wirelessly, even though it's plugged in. So you can actually use it anywhere that gives it power (Ex plug it in your laptop, your TV, etc) and you can access it.

So what Im saying is that you don't have to keep it plugged into the Wii U for it to access those exploit files, which is awesome. You can also use a SD to USB adapter to plug it into the back of the system.

It does however read other files, such as Gamecube games for vWii.

Yeah, but if I plug it in the computer, do I see the same files that are served wirelessly?

I have my Wii U connected via Ethernet, so just disconnect the cable when i'm not playing on-line. That's a very easy additional method of security for people who don't play online much. It's obviously blocked from accessing the internet, but I see no point in the Wii U been connected when it's mainly used offline for local Mario Kart / Smash Bros.
