Gaming Some 3DS pictures I took

My local gamestation got their demo 3DS in today, I got a good long gaming session in with it since I often hang out there with my bro.
I took a bunch of pictures for the fun of it, in particular though I found out something that the 3DS play coins are used for.
You can spend them to unlock extra AR Games, you play enough AR games and eventally a blue box shows up, where you can buy said extras with play coins.

The music player also has a Game&Watch visualisation, which is actually fully playable with the circle-pad, a nice little distraction.

I went to the westfield event for the 3DS today, it was incredible.

I might write up a full report, I managed to play quite a lot of games including zelda oot.

There's so much depth like i was looking through a window, the only time I've seen pop put effects were on super monkey ball when the bananas look like they were coming out the screen and the AR game dragon bit. XD

IMO some games didn't need 3D effects. PES, super street figher looked fine on 2D. Dead or alive much much much better than super street fighter!

Pilot wing and kids icarus fucking looked amazing in 3D, 3D actually really helped with those games ALOT i say.

Oh star wars was shit and both the racing games damn terrible.

The 3DS can communicate with normal ds's, so it looks like the DS firmware comes installed too

yes, exactly like them. I can see why ppl are complaining about 3D now, it's not very strong and harder to 'see' than normal 3D.

Well I just realised, I can just as easily take some pictures with the 3DS itself.
I'll definitely do that when I get a chance tomorrow, since my bro let me stick my SD card in there to try the music channel, I can do that to take some pictures.

Oh by the way, all my old DSi photos were compatible with the new 3DS photo channel.

Awesome! Maybe you can try saving some files to the SD other than pics... I heard that save files are capable of being saved to the SD.

As a matter of fact the 3DS cached some files on my SD card already, I'm not sure what they're for.
