You guys need to stop asking Darth to "hurry up" or "keep working on it". The game is fully playabable. In fact, it's BEEN fully playable for quite a while now. Even if Darth got it to 100% completeion, it really wouldn't change anything drastically. He said so himself; the only things left are library things, I believe. He said it wasn't really important.

So stop asking for a 100% patch, he'll get to it eventually. Let the man rest or work on something else.

is ther a way to trade among ur own savefile as in transfer item wif only 1 ds?????

if not, mayb some 1 can make a patch tat can allow us to trade in same savefile OR allow the storage to be shared instead of each save hav their own storage????

really hope something lik tis can happen....

CURSE YOU, DARKNEMESIS!! Now all my other DS games have fallen by the wayside. ;_;

No but really: Thank you so much for this.

Hi I was having a problem. For some reason the opening screen is black but I can still get to the character creation screen and that looks normal(non black working fine). Then after the intro story(which is fine too) I go back to a black screen. Same thing happens to the non patched version for me. Does this mean I am not using the correct settings or is it that I do not have a clean copy?

Great translation, its very well done and on par with many professional translations if not better. Keep up the good job DarthNemesis.

If theres ever anything I can do to help you out, just let me know.

A couple questions about the game, does the starting character and class change the game's story line in any way?

Nope, the cutscenes are always the same no matter who you choose.

one question about translated games, if its not fully translated can you download it then play the game and when another patch comes out just patch the game and keep playing it with the same save file?

QUOTE said:
For those mac users on Leopard (10.5), here's how to get it to work...
1) Make a folder on your desktop, on the safe side don't include spaces in the name.
2) In that folder put the files from BOTH the pc and mac patches (AND THE UNPATCHED ROM)
3) Open your Utilities folder inside your Applications folder and run Terminal.
4) Drag the file PatchSoma (which is inside that folder you created in step 1) into the terminal window and press enter.

A new file with the -patched extension to the filename is created. This is your translated rom.

The mac patch only works on leopard straight out of the rar, because the xdelta (compression) included is compiled on leopard. If you try to run the patch on tiger (10.4) or earlier mac operating systems you will get errors. The only way to fix that is to compile xdelta yourself on a 10.4 machine from the source, or find a pre-compiled version of it somewhere and replace the one from the rar with that one.

I do all this (running 10.5.6 on an intel mac) and still get the following error CODE
Last login: Mon Dec 15 19:26:06 on ttys000
Pauls-Mac:~ Paul$ /Users/Paul/Desktop/SomaBringer/PatchSoma; exit;
xdelta3: file open failed: read: /Users/Paul/Desktop/SomaBringer/SomaPatch.xd: No such file or directory
logout

[Process completed]

I have all the files extracted to one folder with no spaces in the name. In fact I have followed the directions quoted above to a tee.

Any help?

Thanks for the beautiful translation.

Can anyone tell me how do I get the cheats working for the translated version?

I am using the cheat database from Narin. the readme file from the patch has a game ID which is similar to the game ID reported by R4cce. But for some reason the cheat does not show up on my R4 (already fixed by R4bugfix2)

Thanks

Sure you're doing it right?
Haha, after looking at yours I realize I do not have any of those files (except the Mac executables). I will download the right things and try again.

EDIT: Worked like a charm. Turns out I downloaded the Windows editing app instead of the patch.
