They should hire Darth for translation if they ever decide to bring it to the states (doubtful though, too bad for them! and they thought they could deprive us, heh.)Ha, that would be awesome.

Earth TrapIt's cut off, I see. Thanks for pointing it out, it will be fixed in the next patch.

Another problem: My SomaTrans won't display the Japanese characters!
You need to install the Japanese language pack for Windows.

I am almost positive Darthnemesis has stated before that he doesn't want to use anything that is translated online or through any autotranslator.

Also yay for sticky!
Yes, machine translations are not welcome. If you already understand grammar and you're just using a dictionary, though, that's fine.

Wow...

Just found this today and I am so Excited - Thank you Darth and everyone who has contributed.

This is an amazing undertaking!

Hey, just wanted to stop by and compliment you on an amazing piece of work!
Both the quantity and quality of the translation are superb and I know I never would have gotten into this great game without it.

They're already translated....

just started to play this game as i saw the translatonis being done. good work to the team for setting their time aside for such a noble cause. it seems to me that the usa and europe gamers always lose out as many good rpg's do not see the light of day on our shores and are just released in china.it's a shame........................sudeki300

Darth: If they do decide to make an official translation, what will become of this project?

I'm just curious.
Then I'll stop, of course. I wanted to make this game available to people who can't read Japanese, not to undercut Nintendo's sales.

Anyway, I tried out ellipses and they do look better. I'll be using them from now on.

Well, Nintendo localization is undoubtly good, what with they're a big company and all, but some games got bad localization, like PH2, I'd say your localization should be better. You put heart for this, not money, it's safe to say you'll try to minimize errors, even more, even if you did make errors, we patch users can tell you, and you can fix it

, making it even better

Just having a lot of fun with this and wanted to say thanks. Other developers could learn a lot from the quality of this project.

Within few months; infact its already at a whopping 57% total!!
You can basically play through act 0 through some of of act 3 so id say thats damn good
