where does it say this Pong , i ve been following all the threads concerned with this , and see most people are advising others to use 2b1 . Do you have a link to this info ?

I'm playing sdk 5 games. I have a friend who have a raspberry pi so if I brick I could restore If I ask him, but I downgraded to 2b1 because many people say it's safe to use, and this 3DS isn't hard modded and it would be better to not have to do it unless really good reason (like accidental update or brick...)

wth... gotta "play" wild since i don't know anyone with those PCB's x'D
Way bad not being able to play games with SDK 5+... 2 from 3 games that im playing now are SDK 5+...

We don't know, if there is brick code in 2.0b1. There is only 1 brick report which is not confirmed. It looks not really legit.

Lots of misinformation in this thread.

1. Yes you can dump your NAND, just use 2.0b1 to do so. You don't need a Gateway cart unless you want to run roms.

2. EmuNand 7.1 only works correctly on the 2.0b2. You will run into problems using EmuNand 7.1 on 2.0b1, nothing serious, but I don't think eShop will work.

3. 2.0b1 does not contain any bricking code.

Wait, so it's possible to emuNAND with only the DS-Mode cart, and the play legit 3DS carts? I wanna stay on 4.5 for homebrew, but I wanna play the new games too.

Yup. Even though emunand 7.1 isn't totally supported with 2.0b1, it works well enough to play your retail cartridges. Though, you need 2.0b2 for the eshop. None of this requires the red card.

I'm trying 2.02b (I have purchased eShop titles) but after running Gateway installer and loading the exploit, it will flash "GateWay" on the top screen, then load me back to the homescreen. How exactly do I enter the GW Menu?
