i have return NO BGM in hacks.ini but again error 2: syntax error
you have to hit "enter" after this code block:

Just wondering if I am missing something, that block of code is the VERY END on my hack.ini... So hitting enter is at the end right?

Ok people listen up. Here's the skinny on working with the hacks.ini file and preloader

PreLoader is very picky when it comes to that file and once it's written values to the NAND you will most likely corrupt it if you just edit it try to change settings after. So do this when you want to add new things to the hacks.ini

1: Before you make any changes run PreLoader and turn off ALL the hacks. Save Settings
2. Run the hacks remover program to removed the .ini files from the NAND
3. Open the hacks.ini file on the SD and make your changes/edits
4. Run Preloader and re-enable the hacks you want.

Following this simple procedure will get rid of the missing "=" errors and most of the other problems
Preloader is very quirky about it's .ini file so I have best luck starting fresh like this for each edit.

EDIT: This is of course for Adding or Removing modules from the hacks.ini on SD. Not necessary just to turn on or off already existing optoins.

Just from me reading the .doc if you already have RiiskiMod w Preloader any version all you should have to do is:

33). Launch SoftMii Tweaks, press A, at the menu select 42.app for NTSC and 45.app for PAL users.

34) When once the installation is complete press Home to reboot

Am I correct

Look at DD's sig, he has like 5 different files that you can use and pictures of each are around the page 5-15 point

i really want to know about the region free part because i am using 0.3 gamma and i'm unable to play pal games.i search around and here it has to do something with the tv.i need this because the pal game is messed on the tv screen and it is also black and white.

Thats a video issue, you can force video modes through the 0.3g launcher (Not the channel one though) to get it to work.

If you completely install SoftMii you will have all of starfall Hacks as well as Preloader Hacks added BRICK protection.

It works flawless for me.

So far this is what I have for known (at least to me). Most of it came from the Fishears link in the 0.25 thread, so thank him not me.

if you have to ask how you open the app then you shouldn't be playing with it. just save it for if you ever want to go back to your original menu, AND FOR GODS SAKE INSTALL PRELOADER without it you will be bricked if you fuck up even with our tool. our tool is USELESS without preloader installed

I'm asking where I should start off from. Do I uninstall and undo everything I've done previously then start fresh?

Dang it I'm Still bricked it was working but when I installed the SoftMii Tweaks It didn't work anymore.

Again if you use the tweak tool you MUST power of and back on for it to take effect properly. Also ONLY us 42.app if you are NTSC 45.app if PAL
and wiicrazy's video appears to be a modified preloader
