Hacking soft mod Wii from 4.1E to 4.2E still showing 4.1E !!!

Hi,
i updated the ios's of my soft modded 4.2E Wii (ios236,249&222) & after i did the update successfully the Homebrew channel decided to stop working,i tried everything to get working again but no luck so i used Bootmii to downgrade it to the previous soft modded 4.1E firmware using a backup nand i made last year,now the homebrew channel works fine but i can't seem to upgrade back to 4.2E i tried the 4.2E Safe Updater & let it run until it finished & rebooted the Wii but system menu still shows 4.1E,i must be doing something wrong here but can't quite put my finger on it,what is it ? help me please

Use ModMii to upgrade it. But why dont u stay with 4.1??? its the same advantages,,

Update with Modmii, SM 4.1 is better than 4.2 / 4.3
