Get a 5.01 Recovery update file, size is about 800mb, and update via USB method. But I suggest to stay at what firmware you currently are on.

Read the AIO guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/aio-ps4-exploit-guide.497858/, locate a 5.01 fw (http://darthsternie.bplaced.net/ps4.html) and follow the safe update part. I would wait until release before even doing that.

It you’re on 5.00 you may as well just wait a week until the exploit gets released. It’s being ported to 5.05 and should be released with 5.05 support on the same day. But who knows - 5.01 support may come first, may not. For now, just stay as low as you can.

That said, I’m on 5.01. We can update to 5.05 any time using USB so there’s no hurry.
