Homebrew So the New 2DS XL was announced, what changed now?

The new 2DS XL has is going to be launched, i still didnt tried that out but I have my guesses that its going to be on 11.4 which is going to be a pain in the butt if you want to CFW, New 2DS XL homebrew payloads/exploits isnt still created cuz it didnt launch yet So for people who want awesome CFW, you are out of luck, if 11.4 CFW came out, hopefully 3ds.guide would add New 2ds XL if it can, thats all my guesses i thought.

Also, if nintendo fucks up Homebrew/CFW then we are fucked too

cant say for certain but this could go all Quagmire but likely SigHax will be out the door as if they were aware of it in time before they've started manufacturing units , have patched their Bootroms, gspwn likely has been fixed at the hardware level. there is the small chance there will be some checks or protections by nintendy themselves to FIRM0/FIRM1

or this could just be another DSLite (design changes and no real hardware/software changes)

but sure as Shit they will ship w/ 11.4

Chances are Nintendo simply crammed a new3DS into a different shell. Then like 2DS, they added a slightly different chip for the new screens to prevent soft bricking. Otherwise it's going to most likely be the same hardware with the same exploits.
Nintendo is not known for their timely fixes, it took them months to add a NATIVE_FIRM requirement to the homemenu.

I wouldn't worry.... for every exploit Nintendo patches, expect at least one new exploit to emerge. They'll never stop them all together...
