I have a MARIKO (iPatched) switch. I am not willing to sell it, and/or buy a modchip from a sketchy website, hope that I actually get it, and then solder it. Unpatched switches are no longer being made, and they sell for 2x MSRP.

Please tell me that there's a hack in development for these Switches. Mine is on latest FW (13.0.2 I think?)

I looked at my pants. They said to me to say to you that a hack is coming for you. Just you.

These kind of posts of people asking for "Is new hack coming so I can pirate away" are a bit ridiculous.

What do you expect anyone to say, friend? Enjoy your device, as there are quite a few games worth paying for. I have a hacked one and purchased few eShop and physical games. Metroid Dread on day one, and a few others used.

With so many venues to have free games outside of the Switch, is it really worth it thinking about pirating the system, or else it is useless?

EDIT:
I have all my systems hacked. I barely play pirated games. Go figure...

Yes, give up, life is meaningless.

Just kidding. Why do you mention giving up when you're not even trying? There are several ways of getting the modchip. If you have no motivation to install it yourself, or even trying to contact someone that can... then again, you're not trying. So you can't give up because you haven't done anything.

To answer your question: There is nothing in development, and even if it was, we will not know until it's ready. And chances are we are not seeing anything remotely close to a software exploit in a long, long time.

So, either try for real. Or don't be cheap, and play legit. It's not the end of the world.

the reality is there are most likely private hacks that people of made but won't release them (at least not until the switch hits the end of its life) due to the possibility of them being patched

oh... youre diff not trying hard enough. Its not hard finding a used switch v1 on Ebay for around 200$..

And if a public exploit was in works, this site would be one of if not THE First site with info.

Give me one. It's not like you can just go to your nearest electro store and say "Hey, I want a SX Core, please." It's not on Amazon, Alza, Mall, or etc. It's not anywhere unless on sketchy stores which are close to selling mystery boxes at this point, you never know what you are going to get.

The chips work and Aliexpress give a good warranty that the goods will arrive and work, if not you get your money back. Only issue the install which is a bit of a nightmare, you might need to befriend somebody who can solder!

Watch eBay for unpatched Switches. Don't look for ones that are specifically sold as unpatched, ask the seller for the serial instead and be patient, that way you don't get scalped...

we gave all the infomation for the same question a few months ago but you were rude as it wasn't the answer you wanted, nothings changed since then but still you whine about the same things. there is nothing in development or coming, unpatched switch or modchip are your options. take em or leave em, its that simple. asking numerous times wont change the outcome.

AliExpress has chips. Ali is basically the Amazon of China and half the crap you buy on Amazon is likely sourced from there at a fraction of the cost. It's not hard to verify that the site is legit. If you aren't willing to buy from there pay 2x the price to a reseller or 40K on an electrical engineering degree and build your own.

Switch 1: Patched.
Switch 2: Mariko.
Switch 3: Mariko.
Switch 4: Patched.
Switch 5: Mariko.

This is just wasting mine and the seller's time.
I said be patient. It could take weeks. Put in a saved search so you get email notifications about new listings.
