I really did like the original xbox version, mainly because co-op, but never got around to playing the full version of the remake here.

Still as far as promos for upcoming games go (Sniper Elite 3 is out at the end of the month) this is a good one.

Erm...yeah. I'll pass. I'm not a fan of WW2 or slow motion fatalities (btw...am I the only one who got a serious grudge against that stuff EVERY FUCKING TIME YOU SHOOT SOMEONE in fallout 3?). I could say "yeeeey, free game", but with my steam backlog it even has to take a number in that line as well.

Still...nice news. It's only a matter of time before we will get payed to download and play games now. :)

I thought it was just in VATS that slow motion happened, also it was a reasonable common criticism. As for world war 2 the original did actually manage to be a WW2 game I would stand to play during the xbox era which was a reasonable feat.

Yeah it was only with VATS and I swear I saw an option to turn it off, but maybe i'm thinking of a different FPS.

Not completely sure if you're talking about Sniper Elite V2 or some other game, but you can reduce the number of bullet time events in Sniper Elite V2 if you go to the settings.

Unless there's an option in one of the ini files, there's not one in the in-game menus. But the game kinda sucked as a straight fps, so VATS kind of helped balance it out. I didn't mind it but it definitely made the game cheap as hell.

On-topic - yay more free games :yay:

Nah I was referring to Fallout 3.

Boo. Must've been thinking of a different game then.
I always got the perk that made things explode into pieces when they die. Slo-mo never ceased to entertain me with that.

That perk is great, so is the... er... Mysterious Stranger!

Ok yes they were both made by Rare, but DK was from Rare back then, Rare now is owned by MS. So makes since.
