202 Is used for Homebrew only, i belive it started with mplayer CE, and wiixplorer took it up and now tantrics emu's, its great! I installed mine with V4 merge 60 and USB/wifi etc works amazing in all homebrew ive used it with so far

That's not too bad, but Hermes now believes merging two IOS's like that isn't a good idea. Hence why the version I put out is v5 with IOS57

since mplayer uses ios202 as well, will installing this ios202 affect mplayer in anyway?

I believe it doesn't work with 0.76, but does work great with newer betas, and will work with WiiMC

I can't get it to work.

I was playing from a dvd rom today, ignoring the update, and it played fine. I came back, updated, now won't recognize the DvD format. I downloaded the 202 installer and ran it. Still doesn't recognize dvd format. I ran dopmii and uninstalled 202 and reinstalled it from the app. Still nothing. What am I doing wrong?

can you make an option to work like it did before?

I'm running 3.2U, and haven't had any trouble with any other versions of these.

None of the cheats are working for my games now. Didn't know if you switched the cheat format now. Anyone else having problems with their cheats?

Wow thats wierd you guys are having problems, my experience with the new ones has been nothing short of amazing, it looks better, performs faster, no game loading problems, cheats all work both snes/nes. The newest version just came out yesterday were *supposed* to fix code dumps and things but again i never seen them code dump. Have you used Tantrics installer for IOS202?

I thought that was just for loading from DVD (which I don't need). Still, may be worth trying.

IOS 202 Brings improvements to USB/SMB/Wi-fi and i *think* SD as well, so yes definitely install it, it should help. Im not sure if tantric made the whole app to run off 202 or just the USB/wifi/DVD reading improvements from it, but either way i would install it

Just noticed another update on all 3 of these from Tantric on my wii, i looked on the google code page and the update just says fixes the auto-save bug. had not ran into that myself yet but im glad its fixed!

@Tantric if you still read this, thanks for the updates on the emu's they are amazing!

Also is there anyway to add in a way to choose where you want the app to update too? I load the app from a forwarder channel and from my SD card since its 10x faster loading than USB, but i have since put my roms on USB hdd since the update, but the auto update puts the updated boot.dol into the USB drive instead of my SD so i have to copy it over manually, Whats even more strange is VBAGX still puts the update on my SD card, its setup exactly like the other two so not sure whats happening.

Last thing is, i wish the cheat menu when you have a list of cheats longer than the 10 lines it displays would act like the rom list menu, and i could be able to push right to skip down page by page and left to go up ^^

Yep, you do need to install IOS 202. Works fine now.

An app can only run on one IOS, so the whole app runs on 202

EDIT: Fixed it by reinstalling IOS 202. I thought 202 was only used for USB.

I installed cios 202 this evening using the included installer for FCEUGX (well one included from link I found here) and it installed ios202 but now nothing will read my usb drives, any ideas on what may have happened?

@thevoiceover seems something is broken in the 4.2.1 build as it didnt see my usb drive afterwards as well. go back to previous version. Seems this emulator gets big problems quite regularly. Apart from being able to supposedly have the usb drive in any wii slot what are the adavantages to this new revision cios 202?

USB ability with the emus listed in the title.. I have all my roms on a USB drive and want the ability to load them from there.


I als tried the v1.1 202 installer with the same results, I do not get errors during the install on my 202, it is after it is installed, none of my usb drives read (usbloader, uloader, anything..)
