Now this is the deal, Tantric has updated the SNES/NES/GBA emulators to work with IOS202, aka USB 2.0 speedo. I´ve tested it and the loading speed from USB is amazing XD.

Now, he has available an IOS202 installer in the same download page. I´ve already have 202 installed (I think as IOS36), someone knows if this 202 is a new build from Tantric? Or it´s just the Hermes one?

The cios 202 is the same than mplayer CE (cios hermes)

I was wondering if it was the same myself, i have 202 installed via hermes v4 installer with base 60 and i tried it out, wow USB is great now, no more issues and i do like the font changes it really cleans up the interface alot, i tried to test out USB loading speeds vs SD loading speeds and maybe its just me but both are pretty much instant now, saving a savestate USB seemed slightly faster now, thats amazing. Thanks tantric!

I was just playing around with these new Emu's and i love them, but is there a way to convert old save files for snes9x to the new one? I really dont wanna lose my progress in my games so far

This is a newer IOS 202. It's Hermes v5 with IOS 57 as a base (which is newer than 60/61). Using an IOS 202 with IOS 36 (or even 60) as a base isn't recommended.

I don't think so. Snes9x 1.52 had significant changes that necessitated this.

You need at least one fakesigned IOS to install this IOS. Run DOP-Mii to install one. Then re-run the IOS 202 installer.

For me the "old save states don't work anymore" is a NO for me to upgrade i've put in too many hours on these games to just toss the savestates asside now

I´ve using Hermes 202 v4, IOS38 as base and everything goes just fine.

What's the difference between Hermes's 202 and 222/223? I'm asking since my USB drive seems to work fine in wiiflow with IOS222/223 but not in MPlayer-CE or tantrics emulators..

202 Is used for Homebrew only, i belive it started with mplayer CE, and wiixplorer took it up and now tantrics emu's, its great! I installed mine with V4 merge 60 and USB/wifi etc works amazing in all homebrew ive used it with so far

I believe it doesn't work with 0.76, but does work great with newer betas, and will work with WiiMC
