I've send in some changes as a PR but I'm not able to test it myself, it has some changes to the gfx buffer.

Is there someone who can test the attached file?

Just see if it works and you can play some games.

Thanks in advance.

I have also a pull request (PR) i've sent to @Tantric on main Snes9x GX GitHub.

I only have tested this for a while, but it should work for you.

This intends to add option for overclock the Super FX GSU-1 chip (MARIO Chip) games (Star Fox, for example) to 20 MHz for give them a reasonable, playable speedup, since 40 MHz/60 MHz on these SFX GSU-1 games makes them unplayable due to these when overclocked on 40 MHz/60 MHz are running faster than intended.

More info here: https://github.com/dborth/snes9xgx/pull/1003

Is there someone who can test the attached files?

Just see if it works and you can play some Super FX GSU-1 games with overclock at 20 MHz.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: wrong files, deleted (will update with proper build).

EDIT 2: updated with a new commit which i've forgot to add for fix menu order.

are you still added stuff to the emulator?
@PacBunny
are you talking to me?

well, only thing i did on Snes9x GX over these time was updating Spanish translation, but since Snes9x GX has missing feature for overclock Super FX chip at 20 MHz, i decided to add that.

Played a lot of UMK3, Street Fighter Alpha 2, some Doom, Mega Man IV, Contra III with SA-1... no problems so far.

Update: I accidentally extracted a March build instead of the April one. So:

Not working correctly. Video is all borked up, like a slanted image.

@niuus

Agreed.
Same issue here with those new backports of code.
Tested the new build that @Bladeoner sent with those new GFX changes
And these are the results:

Do you guys think it's possible (and if is there any interest on) to have the option to stretch the image horizontally like we have in RetroArch Hexaeco and HAD on previous RetroArch ?
I know there's the zoom option but the one in RA don't mess with the pixels size.
It would really be amazing for those who use a CRT

@Bladeoner: I fixed the saving of the Super FX overclock option in the settings, i attach the fixed snes9xgx file

Otherwise they made a big mess with gfx ^^ to know that the filtering mode works very well, it's when it is deactivated that the video is broken. I'll see if I can fix it.

Edit:
Sorry there was a problem, it has been corrected by InfiniteBlue, here is the version of the corrected file

Very nice PR @Tanooki16

Your contributions will be always welcome, this one will help a lot, specially since my work is making VC stuff (including my custom SRLs of SNES games for those FX games) UwU

Updated the icon, thanks for that.

not sure I understand about the 512. Are you saying you recompiled the code and increased it from 640x480 to 640x512?

Where did you get 512 from? From what I could tell the largest screenshot you can make in the code was 640x480
im having problems with vba gx,snes9x gx, and fce ultra gx channels when i open them they freeze up and crash i did the sd method i reinstalled them and nothing

@Tantric and bladeoner: As reported by Niuus, there is a problem with the GameCube version.

It's my fault, so I fixed it. I tested the wii version (nothing to report), and according to Niuus the GameCube version works very well again.

I took the opportunity to update the video filters, add the CPU overclock, the possibility of disabling the loading of the BS-X BIOS, and a scrolling text for the names of the games that are too long.

I attach the modified files and the test versions.

PS: the icons for the credit buttons and other mappings are missing, I will do them in the coming days.

Eddit: After discussion with Extrems, I redid the files with the reactivation of the 576p mode for the GameCube, should be 100% OK now
