its funny that the screenshot feature includes the bottom screen. that should be cut down to just the upper one? should speed up the process too

also, while i'm throwing in minor things, maybe its time to add a small config file to save a default rompath and preferences when it comes to screen stretching and skipped frames?
and maybe the option to move the fps display to the top screen and power down the bottom screen to save battery? (if the 3ds supports that. I know the old DS could)

and i don't know how reasonable this one is, but i was wondering if it is possible to force the emulator to run games at a lower, but constant framerate?
like mario kart. its probably not going to get to constant 60 or 50 fps ever and its kinda icky to play not because its slower, but because of slowdowns and speed ups during gameplay. but if it could be forced to run 45fps, it'd probably play better overall.

I could agree with every point except the last one, I preffer playing Super Mario Kart at 58 FPS with frameskip 4 rather than playing it at 40.

would be possible to use snesadvance.dat to improve perfomance like snes9xtyl in psp? For example KDL3 run to 40 fps without snesadvance.dat and 60 fps with this file on psp

Thank you to all for the suggestions. Just an update so far.

I've been busy trying to:
- figure out the problem with DKC1. Apparently, there was a bug in my version of 1.43 related to the SRAM reading, that's why it failed DKC1's piracy check. I hope those wanting to play DKC1 can be a little patient while I fiddle out with other things.
- fixing some of those silly bugs that crashes the emu.
- trying to find a better (faster?) way to draw those mode 7 tiles.

And yes, I may implement some forms of speed hacks in the near future, along with cheats and all. But first, i may have to overhaul a lot of the graphical rendering to get a better speed. Improving the Mode 7 one is a start. :)

No sound fixing? Well, I guess its okay, considering that you are working on some other features! :)

@KJ1 - Actually, I really have to admit, I don't really know how to fix the sound problems. Not yet.

@tatundria - Ok, again I must admit, Autoboot is only something I've heard of in the last 5 minutes. If it's not too important, I'll probably put this aside for now. If you are using Homebrew Launcher, well you can probably just rename snes9x_3ds.3dsx to boot.3dsx... if it works (and if I understand what autoboot means)

Oh okay, but, you might be able to take help from BlargSNES, because in it, sound is almost perfect..

i'm not so sure myself, but i think what he means is some kind 'autoplay one game' version to create virtual console like icons in the home menu. but it seems more of a thing for later.

@KJ1 - Thank you for the pointer. I'll try to look into it in the future. :) But it won't be easy though...

is @StapleButter even still around?

If you have questions regarding sound, I think you can ask staplebutter on twitter.
