Homebrew SNES 9x emulator usb loader question

I have usb loader installed. I partitioned my hard drive, and put roms on it. It was partitioned as NTFS, and when hooked up to my wii, the emulator says "usb not found" or something like that, but I can load and play wii games on the other partition.

It leads me to my question. Does the emulator only read FAT32 and not NTFS? Any suggestions to the problem?
