Homebrew SNEmulDS crashes when chosing Roms

I use SNEmulDS on my 3DS with an AceKard 2i.

Upon entering the screen to load a rom-file it freezes immediately.

i tried newest and older versions from filetrip.

Anyone have any idea why this occurs and how to fix it?

Putting the ROMS inside an SNES folder in the root?

Or am I thinking of the other emulator?

do you have the .cfg file on the root of your SD?

i edited the cfg to point to a different directory.

ROMPath = /SNES/roms

the SNEmulDS.nds-file is in the "/SNES" folder.
