I tried mousex's files and still can't get USB NAND working...

Giving up now, my drive must be incompatible.
To be honest I got it working but found it to be slower, I have gone back to running it off of SD

why not just use the armboot.bin from the SNEEK page?
and btw redistributing GPLv2 binaries without the source is illegal!
Read the GPL smartass.
I just need to give the opportunity for you to get the source. And as I didn't change anything it would be enough in this case to point you to the googlecode SVN.
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.txt
QUOTE3. You may copy and distribute the Program (or a work based on it,
under Section 2) in object code or executable form under the terms of
Sections 1 and 2 above provided that you also do one of the following:

a) Accompany it with the complete corresponding machine-readable
source code, which must be distributed under the terms of Sections
1 and 2 above on a medium customarily used for software interchange; or,

b) Accompany it with a written offer, valid for at least three
years, to give any third party, for a charge no more than your
cost of physically performing source distribution, a complete
machine-readable copy of the corresponding source code, to be
distributed under the terms of Sections 1 and 2 above on a medium
customarily used for software interchange; or,

c) Accompany it with the information you received as to the offer
to distribute corresponding source code. (This alternative is
allowed only for noncommercial distribution and only if you
received the program in object code or executable form with such
an offer, in accord with Subsection b above.)
I hope that's enough for this topic. Just because you don't want to be an asshole and don't want to help with your one-liners this doesn't mean others are not allowed to help. But this is a great sentence you wrote there, "you are distributing an illegal file, others should use the file which is illegal for the same reason"

This. Funny what happens when you actually read these licenses.

Hi all,

Finally got the Sneek SD version working (rev67), self compiled with either 00000e.app en 000001.app from the IOS60 and with the 00000e.app from ios70.
Can not get the USB version working though. Is the IOS70 00000e.app required to get USB working? Would it matter that I am still running (and thus the NAND containing:) system 4.1 (eur to be exact)?

Thanks for helping here

Thanks for the quick replies! Tried it without luck though... SD version still working OK with bott ios70 app but USB version: black screen.
NAND dump is supposed to be in USB root, is it not? Nothing else required to boot into NAND system menu?

Could have to do maybe with my partitions: FAT32, NTFS and WFBS?

go back to glp school. you can distribute this just fine without the source. but if somebody asks for the source, you have to make it available for them.

you can even make them cover the changes for however you wish to give it to them. so if you want, you can require them to but a iomega zip disc and smail-mail it to you. then you can write the source code on the outside of the zip-disc with a felt tipped pen and charge them for the return shipping and the felt-tipped pen.

What other file(s) is(are) needed for game to show up in DC? I see you have slot.bin on your HD could you post this file or how to create it. Thanks.
No other files needed exept region.bin if you are not using a USA wii.
slot.bin is created by sneek. You only need to change slot.bin if you want to play another game but the future sneek versions will allow this with the menu you saw in the video. You can read about the download link for a PAL region.bin in one of my earlier posts (or just create a file with the following content (in hex): 00 00 00 02).
Thanks for the info. Boots up without no problem but I can not get my game to show up.

Note: It did not create a slot.bin on my USB. Could you post it please. TY

You're supposed to use both 0000000e.app and 00000001.app from IOS70 regardless of what the batches might say.
You're wrong.
Then why has that been working for everyone? o_O
Counterquestion: Why does it work with IOS60's then? o_O

Well, apparently it hasn't for a number of people.
Apparently these people depend on batches; which speaks volumes. Fact is, that the information about which .app comes from which IOS came from crediar.

My current slot.bin is "00 00 00 02"
You don't need to create it, it's created automatically (as long as you extracted the games the right way).
I have exactly all folders and info in each of them as you posted earlyer. I trimmed this game prior to extracting all files. Would that make a difference?

Okay, that's reasonable enough. Guess I'll start using IOS60 for that bit.
