bootmii folder on sd card with new armboot.bin R65
boot2_usb.bin renamed boot2.bin on root of sd card and hdd and nand on hard drive(i'll try without bin file on hdd)

only thing edited was path for python and batch to add .app to 0000000e and 0000000001 and used IOS70's .app files

when you say "armboot.bin" is it the one taken from "mini-tree-mod" folder or is it a different one

No signal is all I get from the TV

It has to be something to do with the versions I have. Could you possibly answer the following?

1. What OS you are building on. Built on 2 machines xp pro sp3 and tablet xp sp3(laptop Acer travelmate c200)
2. What version of Python Python26
3. What version of Devkitpro and Devkitarm devkitpro latest but ARM R24

Thanks!!

A newly compiled one from R65 mini-tree-mod folder

it even boots of a 2gb sd card in a sd2usb converter from the pound shop(99c store)

only need armboot.bin in bootmii folder ans boot2.bin(usb one) on root of sd card for it to boot gonna experiment with the di

Hmmm, the only difference I can see is that I am using Windows 7. I'll give it a go on XP. Thanks!

I compiled a successful sneek r65 using windows7.
Same here. So far I've only tested the normal SNEEK without the DI module, but it loaded and everything.

I did end up getting an error message to turn off the Wii a bit after loading, but I assume that's an issue with my NAND dump and not SNEEK itself.

I had the same issue. Look back a few pages for the solution.

It's easier and more permanent to add "c:\python26" to your PATH statement in your system environment variables. You don't need to edit the makefile in mini-tree-mod each time.

R65 just seems to be working well all around. Compiles fine. Loads NAND off of SD and USB, loads games off of USB with di module. I even put two games on USB and changed which one loaded by editing usb/sneek/slot.bin (not sure if that is the intended way of changing games, but it seemed to work).

Nice!

I know it shouldn't matter, but it seems like I had troubles getting the boot2 to come together until I got rid of the .app extension on my files. If anyone is having trouble, that could possibly help. Other than that I have to say thanks to FenrirWolf. I had trouble compiling the Armboot.bin until he said something about using the earlier devkitARM and I tried it.

Hadn't checked on Sneek in like a month, come back, and it has fast USB support.

(btw, it seems to run great via USB)

Okay, apparently attempting to load a GCN game (legit disc in the drive) in r65 causes an error and the Wii has to shut down. Weird.

This is for both SNEEK (no DI) and UNEEK. Haven't messed with the DI version yet.

elfins\elfins fs-usb\iosmodule.elf 00000001.app di.bin -d

that's not how it works, all patches are for the kernel (0000000E.app) !
also obviously FS-USB and DI don't work together!

If you are using FS-SD and DI you need a _valid_ game on your USB device:

+---games
+---SMNU
| cert.bin
| ticket.bin
| tmd.bin
|
+---files
| your extracted files
\---sys
boot.bin
bi2.bin
fst.bin
apploader.img
main.dol
what does that mean a folder called files with all other directories in it or the folders off the game??

I'm pretty sure folder called "files" is supposed to contain what you get when you choose to extract the contents of the unencrypted partition in WiiScrubber. Then you extract the remaining files individually and put them in their respective places.

Also, I assume that SMNU is just an example of a gameid and that you can store multiple games under different IDs in the games folder, right?

Finally, how do you get to that menu where you can choose which game is loaded? I was digging around in the source and it looks like it's there this time around.

On second thought...I seem to be having strange problems with USB currently. It froze when I entered the shop channel, for example. I know the NAND dump was good.
