is it possible to install DarkCORP, dump the NAND and run games in the disc channel with UNEEK?
No, I believe sneek and cios don't work well together.

I figured it was too good to be true. Thanks anways ChokeD.

Actually it should work. I believe darkcorp is just cioscorp + a theme, of which both work fine for sneek.

The only thing it won't work with is sneek DI, at least I can't seem to load disk games with the usb drive inserted, i think they conflict.
hmmm, the question was UNEEK??, I mis-stated the answer I gave my bad.

the DI module doesn't allow DVD access because it is diverted to the USB that's why no DVD's will work using SNEEK w/ DI

theres no reason to install cIOScrap or darkcrap to the sneek nand. just grab the dip out of the cIOS you want to use, call it di.bin and put it on the root of your nand device. sneek already lets every IOS play trucha discs (custom & homebrew discs). you can just change this one DI module and then every IOS will read burned games.

Is it possible to revert SNEEK extracted games back to ISO?
wwt and the partition builder from Wiiscrubber can do it. I use wwt

Darkcorp is the latest version of cioscorp. Not a theme for it

That's Darkwii.

You aren't using one of those "clean" NAND dumps with hardly any IOS's, are you?

I used NUSD to get a virgin nand.
Did you only use the System Menu IOS and IOS34, or however it is that these guides suggest you get a minimal NAND? If so, your games aren't running because you don't have the IOS's they want. So get 'em.

Is there a way I can mass install all the ios's I need?

use NUS/NUSAD to get the all IOS(excluding stubs) and pack them as WAD's, open up your SNEEK NAND with ShowMiWads, drag and drop the Wad's into the ShowMiiWad's window and click install at the bottom, now you will have all the needed IOS for games and VC/WW

ANyone tryed to use the format function .. ? i just did i left it for about 30 mins to it doin nothin..
anyone know if this function works maybe its taking for ever do to it bing on 2GB SD and its kinda slower ?

(Formating wii system Memory) to change Wii ID

Or you can just do a system update from the wii menu.

You could even have NUS simulate a system update do you don't have to get the IOSs one by one

Just turn the Wii off, simulate a wii system update from NUS and copy all the wads to your SD card.

well you can but that would download stubs plus NUSAD allow batch downloads so you can tell it to download all IOS's except stubbed ones, then you can pick and choose which to install so no cIOS's are overwritten

One more question. . . What could I use to pack them into a wad and how?

the little "Pack WAD" ticky box in NUS and NUSAD should do it automatically

sounds simple but still not quite sure how to do that. Anyone care to elaborate?

This might help,

wwpacker 1.84

You can make your own cioscorp using rev17 DIP module and wwpacker. At least I used it to cioscorp my SNEEK nand dump

*BEWARE UNTESTED ON REAL NAND, ONLY ON SNEEK, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BOOTMII AND NAND DUMP IF YOU WANNA TRY IT, IM NOT RESPONSIBLE*
*ALSO I WOULDN'T INSTALL THE NEW SYSTEM MENU CIOS (ie. IOS70 for 4.2), JUST USE THE PROPERLY TESTED CIOSCORP 3.6 WAD (unless ur using sneek).

1. Make a wad dump of cios rev17 (aka IOS249) using bluedump fakesign.

2. Drag the cios rev17 wad onto __wwunpacker.bat and it will unpack it into a folder.

3. take the 00000001.app out of the folder and delete the folder. (00000001.app is the DIP module)

4. drag all the cisocorp 3.6 CIOS' onto __wwunpacker.bat to unpack them into folders. delete the 3.6 cIOS wads.

5. copy the rev17 00000001.app into each of the unpacked cioscorp wad folders

6. highlight and drag all of the folders onto the _wwpacker-NoMod.bat or _wwpacker-JustSign.bat (I used the former but I don't know if it will install properly on normal nand) It will produce the new cioscorp wads with rev17 dip.

You should be able to install using wad manager or the cioscorp installer, HOWEVER I have only tested on SNEEK.

To install on SNEEK, I used showmii wads and extracted the new cioscorp wads onto my nand dump.

So far, working a charm

Doin this does not give u a new WiiID .. only formating gives u a new WiiID ..

Good looking out ChokeD, thanks for finding this. Nice set of instructions explaining exactly how to do it. I tried both methods of Giantpune (super short) and alpha0000 (a few more steps) but still unsuccessful with both. I tried about 10 different variations but still didn't get it to work.

You try it yet? I like the homebrew tool though, good stuff to know about.

If you want a new WiiID on an emulated NAND, just go to shared2\wc24\ and at $09 through $0F (using a hex editor) and change the value in any one of those spots to be different for both the nwc24msg.cfg and nwc24msg.cbk files.

When you run the Wii it should say something like Wii message board is corrupted and its been fixed (nothing will be lost). Which essentially gives you a new random WiiID; The message will only appear the first time after you modify both files. (The reason behind it is, each Wii can have only very specific WiiIDs, so giving it an incorrect one will make it choose a new one to save to the modified files.)

Cool cool that works well .

But now to find out how they are Building the ID to be diffrent .

Thanks .

Sofar i was able to do it 1 time and that was it everytime i change it after that it was the same .
