Snap-on mod chip?

    I remember reading about a mod chip that you didn't have to solder anything at all, it simply snapped on over another chip and you had to put a PIC chip into it. Doesn't anyone remember anything about this?

    Are you talking about the Wilip? This is a device that lets you clip a modchip into the Wilip and solder that into your wii.

    i remember something like that. You still soldered, but onto that clip, and then the clip goes on the IC. Sorry, but that's all i remember. At least you know your not crazy.

    Its called the WiiClip, you have to solder a d2c chip onto it
