Hacking SMT Strange Journey - Random freeze and crashes

I'm using a NDS Lite with the latest OS 1.9 Edge but this game still continues to freeze and crash randomly. BGM music also sometimes get screwed. Is there any patch or solution to this problem?

I've using exactly the same hardware as you and have been playing for about 10 hours with no problems at all.

Maybe you need a faster SD card?

Yeah.. I've got the same problem here too...

maybe It's time to change my SD card....

Since my original post I've had about 3 crashes, each time when changing floors, ie going up stairs or falling through a hole. That's after another 5 hours play and all have been in the second sector. Have you tried the new firmware? Since installing that I'm having no crashes again, but I didn't have any for the first 10 hours, so I don't know if that means anything.

I don't know if a faster SD card will definitely help you. I've just seen posts about some games not working as well with slower cards. I don't know if this is one of them.

I had the same problem I was using a class 2 SDHC card. I change to a class 4 SDHC and now working fine on 1.9 edge firmware.

Now I have downloaded the 1.10 firmware and the game works great.
