Android Smash Controller for Android?

Is it possible to trick a 3ds into connecting to an android using
the smash controller app? Then using the 3ds as a controller for various games.

Similar to wiimote ime?

Nope. Doesn't seem possible.

The Wiimote was able to connect because of Bluetooth (I think) but Google fucked up Bluetooth starting Android 4.1 when they changed a lot of shit that doesn't need any changing so the Wiimote was now unable to connect.

If you install cyanogenmod 12 the basic wiimotes work
