Homebrew Smash Bros says I need the software from store, but all my other games work fine, whats the problem???

I downloaded smash via usb, but says i need the software, never had this problem before, do i need older keys or something... im confused any help please?
On 8.1 atmos cfw, trying to play smash ver 3.0.0

You may not have sigpatches installed, installed NSPs will tend to say "Download from store" when sigpatches are too old or not installed.
The latest sigpatches from Kosmos releases will do just fine.
