What is your perfect sleeping condition?

Are you one that can sleep any where in any condition?
Do you need some lights and sound on a soft bed?

If you wish to go in depth with your perfect sleeping condition.

Getting in the mind of GBAtemp members AFTER HOURS!

    Side questions:

Do you fall asleep standing up or sitting in a chair?
Fell asleep in the bathroom and or kitchen?
Fell asleep in a car? (Other then you were a child)
    Fell asleep on a table?
Woken up in a different room then the one you fell asleep in, if so why?
Do you need to be covered up with something no matter the temp of the room?
Do you prefer it cold or warmer room to sleep in?
Do you need to quench your thirst before being able to fall asleep? If so what?
Do you need snack/eat something before being able to nod off? What is your snack of choice?
Are you a sound sleeper? How sound?
Do you normally sleep on your side, stomach or back?

I might make a "Sleeping" Part 2 Poll as their is so many questions left unanswered. (Most likely containing side questions.)

Blah I am going to sleep now.

I'm fine even if it's as noisy as if there's a rock band inside my room.

On or off, I don't mind.

The mattress has to be on a low bed frame and near the wall, I hate high bed frames.

I can sleep anywhere, but I prefer a soft bed, no lights or music.

I fallen asleep in cars, boats and back of moving vans.

When I used to manage a bar, I fell asleep on the pool table and once fell asleep half standing half laying on the bar counter. Funnily back then my average sleep was about 3 hours a night.

I've fallen asleep in front of a computer many times.

The only problem I have with sleep now is that I can't stay asleep for long. I wake up multiple times in the night. The longest I've gone continuously has been about 2 hours. I've been like this for about 15 years.

my idea condition would be: quiet, pitchblack, and a nice soft bed, with a cold pillow. (i hate when my pillow gets warm)

Do you fall asleep standing up or sitting in a chair?
I can, I have, but not usually.
Fell asleep in the bathroom and or kitchen?
    Nope
Fell asleep in a car? (Other then you were a child)
Plenty of times. Not whilst driving.
    Fell asleep on a table?
    Nope
Woken up in a different room then the one you fell asleep in, if so why?
Yes. Why? I have no idea. It only happened once. I was the only person in the house when it happened. [IMG]
Do you need to be covered up with something no matter the temp of the room?
    No
Do you prefer it cold or warmer room to sleep in?
    Warm
Do you need to quench your thirst before being able to fall asleep? If so what?
Not really. I usually have some Coffee/Tea half an hour or so before I go to bed, though.

Do you need snack/eat something before being able to nod off? What is your snack of choice?
    No.

Are you a sound sleeper? How sound?
It would probably take a punch to the face to wake me up on most days.

Normally I like it quiet; no TV, no lights. I can't sleep in cars because the street lights keep me up. However, if I'm tired enough or it's really late at a party I can sleep pretty much anywhere. Slept on a dining room chair once [IMG]

I'm a very, VERY picky sleeper. Unless I'm really beat, I need a soft bed, soft pillows, it has to be VERY quiet, and it has to be pitch black :\

I require absolute silence, pitch darkness, and a firm surface due to lumbar problems. Since I'm in college, I receive none of those so I'm always a zombie during daytime.

I actually really don't care what my sleeping conditions are as long as i don't fall on something that would bring me pain.

It's weird, I can sleep with music on, but if there's the slightest noise around, I can't fall asleep.. hate to sleep in the same room with people snoring,

Do you fall asleep standing up or sitting in a chair? Nope
Fell asleep in the bathroom and or kitchen? never
Fell asleep in a car? only on very long trips
Fell asleep on a table? nops
Woken up in a different room then the one you fell asleep in, if so why? I was drunk and carried away.. wait.. actually, there are cases where I don't remember where I was sleeping, does it count?
Do you need to be covered up with something no matter the temp of the room? Unless it's REALLY hot.. yes
Do you prefer it cold or warmer room to sleep in? cold
Do you need to quench your thirst before being able to fall asleep? If so what? no
Do you need snack/eat something before being able to nod off? What is your snack of choice? no
Are you a sound sleeper? How sound? You can make noise and probably yell at my side when I am sleeping and I won't wake up.. though, if you call my name I'll wake up instantly [IMG]

My brother's lucky. He can listen to an audiobook, and it helps him fall asleep. I, on the other hand, will stay up to 5 in the morning if I have something to concentrate on. I envy my brother.

Just added the side question of:
Do you normally sleep on your side, stomach or back?

I will answer all the side questions myself in a little bit.
