The video begins with CGI that looks like FF7. Piano with sirens, dramatic.

Camera moves to the appartment of the female singer. CGI cuts to real footage.

Doesn't sound healthy, maybe change your diet and do a bit of excersize.

Camera reveals her lying in bet, then cuts to her falling down, with her spastically moving in her bed cut in between.

"Without a soul my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold

Music goes silent, sound of sirens.

Two floors above an emorock-band is doing a rehearsal. This must be so loud that the sirens are of the police that is approaching, because the neighbors called them to shut down the rehearsal in an apartment building in the middle of the night. No wonder the female singer couldn't sleep.

She gets out of bed.

She leaves her room by jumping out of the window onto the edqe of the buidling. This makes as much sense as the band practicing in an apartment building in the middle of the night, so at least it is consistent.

She walks along the edge of the building

"Breathe into me and make me real"

People sitting in their apathically in their room, probably in disbelieve that a band is playing in their building.

"Bring me to life"

A clown party is going on.

The clowns don't seem to be amused either with teary eyes.

She climbs up the floors from the outside of the building.

The band seems to have a killer time.

She appears in front of the window of the rehearsal. The band doesn't seem to care at all. The male singer seems to be in disbelieve and disapproving. He opens the window and pushes her off the edge.

"All this time I can't believe I couldn't see
Kept in the dark but you were there in front of me"

As she holds on to the edge he grabs her hand.

"I've been sleeping a thousand years it seems
Got to open my eyes to everything
Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul
Don't let me die here
There must be something more
Bring me to life"

She hangs there like a wet sack of sand. The band keeps rocking without a care. The male singer seems to be in the room and on the edge of the buidling at once.

She intentionallly makes it hard for him to pull her up.

She makes it so difficult that the male singer drops her. She seems suprised.

She is in free fall.

He screams to the heaven. She continues to be in free fall.

Cut to her sleeping, then the band, then the CGI apartment building.

It's been all a dream afterall.

Another point that came to my mind is when she says 'Don't let me die here', she sounds possessed. I would advice if anyone talks to you in that tone to avoid them altogether. You want my help? Sorry I will have to pass on that you are obviously possessed. Take care! Bye!

In this context it is not suprising that she tries to pull down the rock singer, after she made him leave his rehearsal. The band must be quite bummed out.

Don't engage with people that behave this way.

Be concise, form an opinion about the song/album, what works what doesn't, a mini analysis or review about it wouldn't hurt, and give a rating at the end & if you think it's good music, essential music to a certain genre etc.

Okay. I find the video very intersting because it is ridiculous in a way that is not self aware. It is professionally made, and you can tell they were serious about it. It is a good video and worth a closer look. The music is a bit worrying to me, since it doesn't promote a healthy lifestyle I think.

Mixes on this are great, as well as the production and master. Maybe too slick for some, but that is a matter of taste. You won't get the more dynamic and rougher production style that was more popular in the 90s. It is very polished and radio friendly (definetly to compressed/flat for my taste). The songs are performed very competently, very clean.

The songwriting is as everything else professional. Its nice to listen to but nothing really grabs your attention. It is playing it save and does it competenly so, but it ends up being formulaic. I could go through all the songs but would end up making the same points over again. Instead I will discuss the lyrics.

She appears in front of the window of the rehearsal. The band doesn't seem to care at all. The male singer seems to be in disbelieve and disapproving. He opens the window and pushes her off the edge.

"All this time I can't believe I couldn't see
Kept in the dark but you were there in front of me"

As she holds on to the edge he grabs her hand.

"I've been sleeping a thousand years it seems
Got to open my eyes to everything
Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul
Don't let me die here
There must be something more

She hangs there like a wet sack of sand. The band keeps rocking without a care. The male singer seems to be in the room and on the edge of the buidling at once.

(Save me)
Call my name and save me from the dark"

She intentionallly makes it hard for him to pull her up.

Bid my blood to run
(I can't wake up)
Before I come undone
(Save me)
Save me from the nothing I've become"

She makes it so difficult that the male singer drops her. She seems suprised.

"Bring me to life"

She is in free fall.

"(I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside)"

He screams to the heaven. She continues to be in free fall.

"Bring me to life"

Cut to her sleeping, then the band, then the CGI apartment building.

It's been all a dream afterall.
