When I put my M3iZero into sleep mode on ds lite, it just flashes the screens repetitively, and doesn't actually sleep. Is there a fix for this? I'm pretty sure I'm using the latest updates

Flashcarts by design do not have support for sleep mode. The M3 flashcarts are no longer being updated, doubt there is a fix for this particular flashcart.
