Hi guys,

i've recently bought and build a new PC and i wanted to know if and how it's possible to get the best graphics in the game. I know that skyrim is highly moddable but i've never tried that which is why i want to get sure before doing anything stupid. If there is one who has experiences i'd really appreciate any tips/hints in this case.

My specs are: i7-6700k, Palit Geforce gtx 1080 8 gb and g.skill 32 gb ram. However, as Monitor i've a Dell UltraSharp U2515H and i wonder if it's capable since it's not a monitor for 100% gaming purposes (it does his job tho).

greets.

Well, you could always try it. And yes, that should run Skyrim at full graphics. That's a really nice computer, it will run all the latest games and should skyrim perfectly fine (and special edition)

that 32gb ram isnt really need. you would have been fine using 8gb or 16gb seeing as pretty much any game only needs at least 8gb. unless you do a lot of editing, that ram just going to become wasted data/space.

with that much ram, you should have fun and try and run your OS off it just to see what its like. for funzies. (there are loads of tutorials out there)

that's a nice 2k monitor. if you look to get a second one later on, a 144hz or greater looks brilliant for games. you really notice it. but quality wise you're great! go look for some 4k mods and run on full.

@nero99: You're right but i do work also with blender, c4d etc. which is why i need that much especially for my 3d printer. It's actually not that much tho compared to other ones...

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
