Looks awesome, will definitely be getting this version, especially since I never played Skyrim yet, but had been meaning to for quite some time.

They use Roman numerals so that screenshot would fail to pass as real, at least a lot would notice. :P

i still need to play skyrim. so ill get that on PS3 and then pick this version up when its going for £20
Isn't the 360 port better than PS3's?

As long as you can play and have fun, that's what matters. I did have fun playing BotW even with the crappy performance so anything can basically pass. :P

Lol speak of the devil. i am play BOTW right now. i just got my switch 2 weeks back and i am loving BOTW which is my first zelda game. The world itself is huge and very immersive.

But i dont like the fact that its so real that i cant climb mountains when it is raining xD

You got back to it at a good time since Nintendo has released patches to improve the framerate issues of the game. Fun game but once I was done with the main story mode and going around hunting for shrines it just got really boring.

The Switch dock is pretty useful to charge USB port devices. :)

Since Skyrim came out when I was in my last year high school, I never got to it. Did play Daggerfall lots, Morrowind at a friends', Oblivion came out when I was more into MMo's.

I'll buy it probably, the idea of creating an Orsimer woman and dressing her into Link's getup sounds hillarious to me, too.

I already rebought it on the xbone after i sold my xb360...but if it had mod support i would consider it, since the switch lacks achievements

I can't wait until this comes out...!!!

...to make fun of commuters using motion controls in plain public. :tpi:

There's a business point behind it.
The Zelda items in Skyrim Switch are obtained with amiibo.
amiibo are like physical DLC.
DLC costs money.
This can only mean one thing.

It's indirectly DLC.
Yeah, it's DownLoadable Content without the downloading part. So basically Content. Or "C" for short. :P

Well commuters will probably stick with traditional controls lol. I have no issue with motion controls though especially when you have options to play either way. I also do find that gyro control is ideal for aiming with the likes of bow and arrow like in Breath of the Wild.

So since only Nintendo get profit from Amiibo, Bethesda basically make DLC and give money to Nintendo?

I've been meaning to play Skyrim for a while but never had the chance. I'll definitely try to buy a copy once I get a Switch!

But the footage frame rate drops pretty noticiable on that part. If it is superimposed footage i bet they were trying to recreate how it runs on undocked mode, with obvious frame drops.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I can't be that wrong if the motion controls footage shows very noticiable frame drops...

Or just wait till we get more information; I'll get a game capture program and display the framerate.

I know I saw 60 fps and then 30 fps, so yeah, my eyes weren't hallucinating; I'm capturing the framerate later.

I didn't even know they were making another TES game, I thought TESV was the last mainline one.

To be completely honest, it looks a lot better than I thought it would, might actually pick it up. Handheld Skyrim would be pretty sweet to have, the motion controls also surprisingly don't look terrible.
If they could add mod support I'd shit bricks though.
Also lol @ people actually thinking this has any effect on when TES:VI comes out, stop being silly.

Surely this isn't always true. I have to imagine for example that Yacht Club get some profit from the Shovel Knight Amiibo. SEGA likely gets some profit from the Sonic amiibo, Capcom from the Megaman and Ryu amiibos, Bandai-Namco from the Pac Man amiibo, Square will probably receive profit from the Cloud amiibos, and Platinum for the Bayonetta amiibos.

But those are all not really related to the subject at hand. Bethesda probably wont receive profit from the BOTW Link Amiibo, but maybe Nintendo worked out a deal where based on the number of people scanning Link into Skyrim that Bethesda would get a cut of the profits from that Link Amiibo. I doubt it, but it could be true, frankly I don't really care haha.

I'm more curious as to why that Tweet says June 29th, 2536, I call fake.

I think it'll be a cold day in hell before Nintendo embraces the ability to implement mods on their systems. (Not that such a thing isn't possible through hacking obviously)
