ill be getting it as ive never played skyrim before and with zelda goodies attached its just sweetening the deal

Soooooo not to be "that" guy, but how many ports are we gonna see of skyrim until the new TES comes out ? Maybe after the SwitchU or Playstation 87 ?

Methinks docked 60 fps, undocked 30 fps. That's damn impressive for a console port.

To the haters, hate on :creep:
What, really? In the trailer it clearly looks like undocked mode drops to 20 or even below that. Highly doubt docked mode will surpass the 30fps mark.

Look again at the 0:22 mark, where it shows the full screen, that's not 20 fps dude. Why does the video have the option to run the video at 60 fps then?

Read the comments on other sites, people are taking notices to that as well.

I don't think we have seen any docked footage.
It is all superimposed, and to me it looks it all comes from a homogeneous source, probably an HDMI capture from docked mode.

Sounds on spot.
Yeah, probably a PS87 launch title.

As much as I like skyrim uhh ... who is going to buy this?

do they expect to sell millions with that?
Likely just a small number of Switch owners while the majority won't. I'll admit the trailer looks good but I'll put my money towards Xenoblade 2 than a 6 year old re-re-released game.

You can't please Sony fans, they'll always be buthurt
Anyone that criticises it is a Sony fan? Well, that's something!

Either way, the part where Link opens the treasure box, the full screen portions are running 60 fps, and 30 when off-screen, there's no way that's 20 fps lol.

That is a wise decision IMHO, but if you haven't played Skyirm at all well, it sounds like a good purchase to me.

Undocked mode at the 0:40 mark. You can't tell me that's 60 or 30, neither 25.

Whatever you see there is an artifact, it is obviously superimposed docked mode imagery.
Just check at 0:31 mark, it is quite obvious they did a terrible job at superimposing the docked footage whtn this person tries to take the joycons apart from the console, moves the console up, but the image stays fixed in the same place of the screen all the time.

Just check at X:XX mark (perhaps later I modify this I am so lazy I should die), it is quite obvious they did a terrible job at superimposing the docked footage whtn this person tries to take the joycons apart from the console, moves the console up, but the image stays fixed in the same place of the screen all the time.
But the footage frame rate drops pretty noticiable on that part. If it is superimposed footage i bet they were trying to recreate how it runs on undocked mode, with obvious frame drops.

Sure I can, it's 30 fps undocked, the :22 mark shows 60 fps, but we both could be wrong and will need to find out, but it's not "20 fps lol", so yeah, nice try :P
I can't be that wrong if the motion controls footage shows very noticiable frame drops...

I wasn't being (completely) sarcastic about that.
But I hope it comes before Half Life 3.
Sorry i failed to make a screenshot, lemme try again:
