> Calling a handheld console a phone.
> Praise.

Fine, let's assume I misinterpreted you, and if that's the case, I do apologize. The way you worded it did not make it sound like praise at all. ;)

EDIT: Wait... I... think I get it...

"Now, the PS Vita is to a Phone" was meant to be "Vita is now a phone too"?

See, this is how simple word order mistakes change the meaning entirely - if this is what you wanted to say, I'm really sorry for being a complete doofus, it JUST occured to me.

Gambia, The
skype arrived in germany, and i think its a huge improvement to the vita itself.
but it wouldnt be the internet, if i wouldnt bitch about it atleast a bit, so here are my points:

- i couldnt seem to find a way to list my friendslist the way its supposed to be. i.e. the contacts currently online on top and after them the ones not online in alphabetical order.
- the games i used to play (uncharted, gravity daze, ragnarok odyssey) disable the "network fuktionalities" while in game, which is a bummer. at least thats not the case with wipeout and unit thirteen. unfortunatly dont have more games to test.
- would be great if on my psn-friendslist their entries would get their skype-ids mentioned, so i copuld add them in skype (as long as they want to share it, of course)

but lets be honest. skype on the vita is great and yes, i would aswell like to see this on my 3ds

Once again I'll ask a question that is relevant to the thread:

If any of you have a 3G-Enabled Vita, do report as to whether or not the application works with 3G connections or is it only working with WiFi ones. ;)

Fact: the Vita is more of a tablet than it is a phone.

So stop calling it a phone.

EDIT: BUT ON TOPIC. I installed the app last night but didn't really use it. Just looked at the GUI and stuff. Seems pretty fluid although it doesn't seem to list conversations I listed as contacts under it (since I have some group chats going for years that I just put as contacts now). I mean it's probably more so aimed at the more popular features of Skype, like 1v1 voice and video chat, but it'd be nice to have a bit more group text chat support.

It's always something they can update at a later time.

I'm guessing audio calls will work for either, but video calls need a WiFi connection

Just a guess
