so i own sky 3ds already but is it worth it to get sky3ds+
if you are on 11.0 then yes, it's worth it, if not follow this guide https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki to install a9lh+cfw which is the closest you can get to a truly hacked 3ds
Hmmm not updated my 3ds for awhile.. i guess sky 3ds doesn't work on the latest?
It works on the latest. What is your current FW version?
Hmmm... not updated it in many many months pretty sure the last FW I was on.. must of been 9 or something.. just not used it in a long time.
If its under 9.2 or 9.2 its good to install a cfw and not paying anything.
Then you don't need to buy anything! Just don't update!
I am abit confused here.. is it bad if I updated?
Yes if you want to install a cfw.
Then just start with the guide and in the end you'll have a hacked 11.0 system
I might be version 10.. charging my 3ds to find out.
Keep us updated, not your 3DS!
If it is at 10 it's still hackable , but starting at 10.5 you'll need a game to hack it
if I am being honest.. I never used CFW.. only ever used it for games.
It depends on what's important to you.
super easy. maybe even easier to use than DS flashcarts
should be unblockable for a while, maybe forever.
Can play homebrew titles if 10.7 or less (this gives you cfw options, should you decide to want that)
can't play eshop games, just unaltered cart roms
need to use homebrew to launch out-of-region games
Have to push a button to cycle through roms, no visual menu.
Can't play homebrew titles on 11.0 (yet).
Need private headers for online play or risk bans.
I see.. already own the sky3ds though.. was just asking if it was worth upgrading to sky3ds+. I have a private header already (: but not tested it in awhile so maybe its banned now? last time I played it was fine.
Just get CFW, it's so much better and also free.
Hmmm need to search it up on what it does etc.. never looked into it before.
I say it's worth it (new sky3ds+ owner, never had previous versions).
The big thing is it supports new games. Older sky versions have games blocked with releas dates going back to a year ago.
This guide has you covered.
