Tutorial Simple Guide to Downgrading your 3DS

No, I used ninjhax and ironhax. I did try taking out the sd card, no change.

Hi!

I'll explain you my problem... A few days before I downgraded my n3ds, installed reinand with emunand 9.5, etc... But now I don't understand what to do with backups of higher version. I though with HANS or some homebrew allows me to spoof firmware to play that backups, but now I find backups with "cryptofix" and now I don't know what do I have to use, or if with one of that method is enough...

If I need backups with crpytofix, can I build them by myself? or it's a process that only expert people can do.

whenever i start the console with the sd card i get a black screen, removing the sd card at boot fixes it
i had badges and folders on the home menu
if i insert the sd card after boot, the folders i had before downgrading are gone...
i unninstalled badge arcade thinking the black screen was related to the badges and new stuff, is there a fix without erasing the whole card?

The black screen is being caused by Menuhax, it's attempting to load the exploit for the newer firmware you had before and 9.2 doesn't like it, to fix it boot the 3ds without the sd card, insert it and then change the theme to clear the Menuhax data and your set.

i didn't had menuhax, i was on 10.3...

also, noticed ironfall gets stuck at nintendo 3ds logo :'(

I'm trying downgrading my brother's N3DS 10.3U, but i'm getting some problems,
When get Y pressed sysupdater just got any exception error, and restart menuhax as many as i do the same.
Very fast blink and restart to menuhax.

I'm trying downgrading my brother's N3DS 10.3U, but i'm getting some problems,

Last hack is very unstable in N3DS would be a miracle that could lower

having problems on N3DS 10.3U as well. Menuhax was either black screening or freezing most times I tried. Out of 6 times, I made it to where I could press Y once. Then got the error with CIA.

I started trying with OOThax and out of 5 times tries, got to the press Y 4/5 times (so more reliable). Still getting the CIA error. I tried also using a brand new Lexar 300x just freshly formatted and setup.

I don't have access to something that let's me transfer files directly to a SD card right now. Is it completely safe that I just go ahead and transfer over the downgrade files via FTP (FTBrony)?

sweet thanks, I was downloading on Mac and transferring to Windows before putting on my SD (only thing that had a SD slot and no wifi!)

Finally downgraded, but is there a way to re-obtain pre-installed games that were on my console if I made a backup? If not, that's fine too - the game was NSMB2. Not a total loss.

Did you try the Mii Plaza games and all that? Does everything still work fine? Also, does your friend list still work?

Mii Plaza seems to be working. I tried playing some games - both included and DLC-ones - worked without a hitch. Friend list is also working.

I think i put the wrong fimrware, now i'm watching on video tutorial and thereis a different update finishid with _n3DS.zip and a have got the other one on that iso website.
I didin't khnow there are diffents update from 3DS to N3DS.

I think i'm in a full brick.
