Meh, fuck it, tried downgrading 3 times, all 3 times it gave me "An error has occurred" upon finishing. Going back to 10.3 and waiting for KTM.

I've managed to downgrade without bricking entirely and now I cant open the system settings. I've tried updating using recovery (L+R+A+UP) But thats spitting an error at me. Anything I can do?

Its probably already answered but it does work with new3ds aswell on newest firmware? and what happens to all my data upon downgrading i.e. streetpass data etc. ?

Yes it has been KNOWN to work with n3ds but doesn't seem to work well with it all. Hell the program itself tells you not to attempt on a new. Downgrading to 9.2 wont get rid of the data [badges unfortunately require 9.3 so unsure on that count] BUT you will need to clear everything to unlink you sys and emunand.

I downgraded a 2ds successfully, but I'm having problems installing cias on emunand. I think the problem is on FBI's end, but idk.

I'll try.
It is a member in another topic, said the 2Ds was bricking need for slide 3D

That should only happen if one downgrades below 9.x (way below to be precise-ish (edit: see next post)), as back then MSET (the config app) assumed all devices had the 3D slider.

You still shouldn't try it if you don't have a hardmod and a few NANd backups.

Lower than 6.x to be precise.

I'm kind of layman, I'll do the SD backup and seek rom my current version, for in case something goes wrong.
