I've been playing Sonic Rush and I LOVE IT. However, it's not long enough and now I'm out of Sonic Rush to play so I need something else. I'm after something similar - like a fast paced platformer or something. Any ideas?

Play Advanced or the old Genesis ones while you wait for Sonic Rush Adventure

First Advance game is very good, the other two are just games were you press right and jump a few times like Sonic Rush. Sonic Rush Adventure should be out Autumn time.

I have an R4/M3 Simply so GBA games aren't playable on it. I could always emulate them on my PC but I'd rather have something I can play on my DS Lite.

Ah then theres nothing else on the DS. You could just get a cheap GBA flash cart, worth it as theres lots of amazing GBA titles.

The 2D-Sonic-Games are one of a kind.

I`m wondering why there was no one who tried to copy the game mechanics of a Sonic game?

If Picodrive would work well I would suggest you Sonic 1-3K.

There's been quite a lot of platformers that have copied Sonic games, all with their own "quirky" mascots. Most of which appeared in the early to mid 90's.

Sonic is really unique.

I liked Sonic Advance (it was the first GBA-game I bought), but when I played it recently (after Sonic Rush, which I bought too) it felt old...
Sonic Advance 2 and 3 suck. Trust me.
The old Sonic-games (Megadrive/Genesis) rock though! I don't really like the first one (it's OK) but Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and 3 and Sonic CD are soooo good!
But Sonic Rush is probably better than anything else. Far better than GBA, but maybe Sonic CD is still a bit better... Well, just try

You can download it at quite some sites...

I'm really looking forward to Sonic Rush Adventures... I hope they don't mess it up...

Get a Genesis (Megadrive) emulator and play Sonic 1, 2, 3 and Knuckles.
The last 3 are better than Sonic rush. :]
